 The greatest help you can provide is to support our programs & let your elected officials know that you want them to support them, too. The success of a countywide spay/neuter program is totally dependent on cooperation from the cities in Volusia County. That means that each city will have to do its part to provide accessible, affordable spaying and neutering for its residents.

Please, find out all you can about spay/neuter programs & let your elected officials know that you want your city to participate. That way all of the residents of Volusia County will benefit by reducing the tax burden placed upon them just to kill animals.

As we continue to contact city and county officials seeking endorsements for a spay/neuter program, we need to have people in their respective cities contact their commissioners to ask for support of those spay/neuter programs. Remember, we have to speak out for the animals. They cannot do it themselves. If we ever hope to live in a community in which no more adoptable cats & dogs are killed just because there are not enough homes for them, we need to join together to show our strength.
